3g/nav issue

weird issue. Radio is fully up to date. It randomly looses3g and NAV signals. will occasionally get radio needs service warning. XM radio and FM radio both work perfectly and some days the NAV and 3G work perfectly as well.....

any ideas?

Do you have a sharkfin antenna?

It's possible the Sharkfin Antenna itself is going bad. It's also possible that the connections in between the antenna itself and the radio are going bad. Mine was broken at the radio connection.

Please let us know via private message if you decide to have your dealer look into this. We would like to have this documented and have a case escalated on your behalf so a Case Specialist can work with your dealer to help find a potential solution.

I started a conversation with ramcares…..not sure if that was what was meant by PM....but to further delve into my troubles.....I attempted to update as uconnect instructed me to....now the system is stuck in a reboot loop and nothing works....so glad I bought RAM

Yes...it was failing on the Sierra update....very long story short...Uconnect paid to replace the radio!!!!!!!
