A few things I did last month

Tinkering about on my truck has led to some improvements and additions I thought I'd share, with some feedback for those thinking about doing the same. I've added the AVS 5 window vent visor shades. Wasn't sure if I'd like the back window, but it really dims the sun coming in. Thumbs up there. The screws for the bed cap flaps were a 5min fix that I should have done long ago. 6mm hex drive black oxide flat top screws and a bit of blue loctite holds them down and are not really noticeable. Another Thumbs up. The ladder took all of 30mins (and a beer) and again, should have done straight away. I purchased the hitch step, but can't be used with the tailgate down. The "88 hole" chain tie downs make it possible to hold anything down from any angle. Just need some more bungie cords..

I've seen the ladder on eBay for over $100. I got it through Summit Racing for about $40.
