Has anyone bought one of those generic AC compressors off e-bay? Would be a great deal.... just wondering if they work.

They carry a 1 year warranty usually, I guess if you make it past 1 year then your doing good, but if it fails after that the... sorry about your bad luck.

Depends on what kit you get. Some are just compressor, some with receiver, dryer, lines...
Seen the compressor alone from $122 to $160 and they look like they all used the same picture. Probably buying it from Rock Auto and reselling LOL thanks.
If it lasts 2 years its worth it, I usually don't own vehicles for as long as I've owned this one but there is something about it

I got one for my 2002 4.7. $135 shipped from Parts Geek. Looked identical to the factory one I replaced. Been on for a year now no problems.
