Alpharexx luxx g2 series low/high beam problem

I installed the Alpharex luxx g2 series headlights on my 2010 ram and every time I turn on the high beams the lowbeams turn off. Aren’t the low beams supposed to stay on when the high beams are on too

Most likely your Ram came with single-bulb headlights which would have to cut the low beam to run the high beam. There are far more Rams out there that had dual-bulb headlights. The wiring, as far as I know, is identical.

AlfaOBD can change the BCM setting to allow the low beam circuit to stay on with the high beams. There's a gigantic thread here on AlfaOBD, if someone is local to you it's a quick job to do or you can get the app and adapter to do it yourself. A dealership also has the capabilities, but can be difficult to deal with.
