Just purchased a 2018 ram Laramie and I’m looking for a solid bug deflector for the hood. I really don’t want to remove the rubber seal on the front of the hood and I’m unsure about the stick on type. Any suggestions? Thanks

I had a stick-on type that came on my 2013 Rocky Ridge 1500. It still looked great when I sold the truck in 2021. I wouldn't rule out stick on's at all.

One type of bug shield, fastens with 4 screws & clamps, it also comes with 4 pieces of pliable soft plastic.

The plastic is folded over the sheet metal to protect the paint, then the clamp fits over the plastic.

this clamp needs to be reset

Aeroskin II "stick on" 3M tape won't come off. Follow the directions but NOT taking all the backing off at once, even with a friend helping
Because of the upward pointing of the photo, you can see the leading edge of the white hood.
