Hey guys, have come out twice to a dead battery. Charge it up and didn't drive the truck for two days and it's dead again. Today it shows p0562 code. Says that it is alternator, wiring or voltage controller possibly.

I charged the battery and ran test on battery and alternator through the scan to and they both passed. Thoughts or suggestions appreciated...

If you don't have one of these, get yourself one. They're still one of the best battery load testers a home mechanic can have in his tool box. They might be old school, but they're still better then the new digital battery testers for the average home mechanic.

It's a Laramie longhorn, so built in stereo and remote start. No aftermarket electrical stuff.

I’d bet you have a defective battery.

Even AGM batteries, when discharged and re charged repeatedly, can be damaged permanently.
