Hood upgrade question?

Hello, my poor 2019 Ram Classic Warlock was hit by hail a few days ago. Its definitely going to need the hood replaced. I currently have the standard Warlock hood. And since its going to be replaced. I would like to add the factory performance hood. Is this a direct swap? Or are hinges or anything else need to be changed? I'm guessing its a direct swap. But just want to check first. Thanks

Are you talking about the sport hood with the fake hood scoops? If so yes it is a direct swap. Isn’t the warlock hood the same as the standard 1500 hood? There are a few aftermarket hood options as well.

My warlock came with the sport hood with 2 fake hood scoops

There is one which actually has functional air intakes, Mopar offered it along with the intake system for it.

Yeah you can swap to the sport hood if you would like. I would ask Allmoparparts in the vendor section if you are looking for a brand new hood, you will need to buy the grills for the scoops and maybe the under hood heat shield if you want that. He can tell you all of the parts required.

That’s still just a sport hood but they swap the passenger plastic insert out for a true vent

Thanks, yes I currently have the standard hood. And just figured since it will need replacement. I'd go with the 2 scoop Challenger style. And pay the difference

Did you upgrade to the sports hood? I’m thinking about doing this to my 2020 warlock and I’m curious what it cost you and if you’re happy with it?
