Hey guys I'm new to this group. I've been coming on here for a while to check out all the sweet trucks you guys have. I've ran into a problem. I can't find anything bigger than a 6 inch lift for my truck, and I would like at least an 8, if not a 10. I also don't know a whole lot about trucks like some of you guys. I'm gonna take it to a shop to get it installed and all that good stuff. Do any of you happen to know of any lifts as big as I want? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've got the 2015 Ram 1500 4x4 blackout edition.

Bilsteins and a 6" or a body lift. No straight suspension lift bigger than 6".

I've seen you guys talk about Bilsteins. But to be honest, I have no idea what the **** they are. Like I said, I don't know a whole lot about this stuff. Took auto shop in high school and the teacher liked me so I didn't have to do anything

The bilsteins most typically referred to here are the 5100 shocks for the front. These are adjustable shocks from 0 to 2.8". Many use them to level out the truck. Some 6" kits will not leave the truck leveled, as there is a rake from the factory and not all these kits will compensate for that exact rake. Not to mention, every truck is different.

They can be used to increase lift height before or after a suspension/body lift. For instance, I purchased the Zone 6" front/5" rear kit. There was a 3" rake from stock, leaving about 2" rake after lifting. Setting the shocks at 2.1" made it pretty much dead level.

Bilsteins are a height adjustable shock/strut replacement. So you have the ability to adjust the front height of the truck from stock up to 2.8". Most use a strut/coil spacer to achieve a 2-3ish inch lift up front

Oooooh ok. Thanks for the help guys. My truck actually looks pretty level now, but we'll see how it is after the lift. I'm gonna put some 35's on her to make it a bit bigger too. And because I don't want her to look like she skipped leg day.

If you're wanting 8-10" of lift I'd start lookin at bigger tires than 35's. More like 37-38.

I'd be very shocked if it's near level stock.

37's are small for my setup..wish I had gone 40's on 22 or 24" rims as well.

I'll take a picture of it when I get home in a few hours and see what you guys think.

Measuring would be the accurate way to tell... these trucks aren't typically level in stock form... usually some rake...

Mine has rake from hell. But I'm dealing with it. For now.
