Looking for 2017 Ram Bed Step w/dual exhaust

Looking all over for a bed step that will work with my 2017 Ram with dual exhaust. I can find many but exclude dual exhaust models....

If you are handy and are willing to have an imperfect setup… I just did this a couple weeks ago. If I were better with CAD I’d design a new step but in the meantime this is what it looks like.




I bought a 4”x4” 3/8” thick piece of steel and drilled/tapped/counter-sunk one hole, drilled 2 bigger holes basically pushing the step 1” further from the exhaust pipe and rotating it 15°. Then I cut off the edge of the oversized step parallel to the exhaust tip and glued on a piece of ABS scrap I had.



Looks a little hokey but works perfectly for what I need.

I got the idea from a guy I ran into at the grocery store. He skipped the metal extension, cut off a bit more step, and put up with it hitting the exhaust pipe. Worked perfectly for what he needed.

Old knees suck.

Anyone running the AMP Research BedStep Dodge Ram Dual Exhaust 2009-2016 75310-01A? From the looks of the pics on Amazon it doesn't look like AMP did a great job trying to tuck this in while not in use. Trying to get some better pics when in the up position from dead rear and more side rear...
