Manual window regulator help

Have a 2003. I have manual windows and the window regulator is all bent out of shape.

Anyways I ordered a replacement but it did not come with the hand crank gear part.




I’m super pissed because the part does not simply unbolt. Looks like it has some kinda riveting to hold it in place.

Has anyone actually switched this piece?

I’m thinking it might be better to get a used one with the crank part already installed

Or drill out the rivets and replace with small bolts ,lock tite these fasteners.
