Hi gang,
New member and great to be here
Had Barracudas and Challengers back in the golden muscle car era and was always pro Mopar.
So just bought my first Dodge truck 2005 Ram 1500 Big Horn edition 5.7 Hemi auto, 230K running smooth. tow package, brand new Cooper Discovery tires
Paid $4000 ..Seller was the original owner !
Only issue is when braking I get a subtle but noticeable vibration from front, feel a bit of it in steering wheel.
Having owned a few Cherokees I am well versed in front end issues and death wobble etc
Pedal feels a little oscillation also.
I am considering the culprits :
Ball joints
Tie rods but steering is very tight I do get abit of light bump steer though
Wheel bearings but I hear no noise at any speeds or the typical grinding.
Rotors are smooth but possible suspect is brake pads ?
Thats my list to inspect in daylight Any other thoughts suggestion always welcome.
