Hello, I'm new here. I came for help. I have and did probably posted in the wrong area. I personally do not own a dodge, but I do own a 1986 Jeep Comanche, we are somewhat related. I also somewhat own, with the work I have put into it, my friends 03 ram.

2003 Ram, 5.7L hemi, automatic, 2 wheel drive. Transmission problems

Symptoms, when he drives his truck, it shifts from first to second and then there is no third or higher. The dash trouble code says trans temp.
Is there a youtube video or a sensor to replace or....

Does the trans do this at all temps? Like when it's first started in the morning and you start driving right away, does it still not shift and give the temp warning? When were the fluid and filters changed last or at all?
