I got the P0307 #7 cylinder misfire error. I already install me plugs and there are no plug wires so I installed a new coil pack. Code went way but I was still getting a ping on the drivers side in one of the cylinders. Then it started sputtering and running crappy again and the same code showed up. Could this be a bad fuel injector causing the misfire? What would the code be for a bad injector or will even throw a code?

Coils dont go bad on a HEMI, only change them if they fail , Test the Ω of the injectors. and test the Ω of the spark plug.

This should be done even before install to check if they are good.

The best check, is to pull the # 7 coil & move it to the position next to it.
That would show you, 1 of 2 things,
If the trouble code changes holes, the coil is bad

surprised no one mentioned the elephant in the room..
possibly one of the lifters has failed in the #7 cylinder. Time to pop the valve cover off to see if the rocker arms are moving.
