If your dad has a 2019 model it has the 8-speed trans, not the older 6-speed. My 2019 averages 20.

17 is about what I'd expect out of an "aggressively" driven older truck with the 6-speed. The company truck must be really loaded down with tools and gear to get 10.

It has 8 ply tires and when I tow slow it get 6-9mpg at best. It’s great for in town. I traded it in for a 2018 Ram 1500 gas sport RamBox that has 8 speed and 27k miles on it.Had to buy 10 ply tires and need to get nicer coil springs and we will see what mileage mpg on next trip
