Rack and pinion

My power steering went out on my 2015 3.6L it’s the rack and pinion, I found one off a 5.7 would it be a good idea to replace it or does the rack and pinion have to be off a 3.6 L?

Good question. Far as I know the same rack is used for the hemi, pentastar and ecodiesel.

It should be the same part number for the electric power steering rack no matter what the motor is for the 1500 Rams from 2013 up to 2019 classic
