I bought a REC Radio for my 08 1500 plugges right in supposedly have fully installed it yet. My truck also cme equipped with Uconnect and was wondering if would work on the rec radio. My uconnect is the mirror mic type with the bottoms on the mirror. Everything looks like it all 3 wires plug in so I'm guessing the uconnect is going to work?I read the manual for the REC and it says something about hands free module which I'm guessing is uconnect.
So my question will connect work on my 08 rec radio? How do I make it work if the rec doesn't come with bluetooth? Is it hardwired? My uconnect worked previously.
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
