SERV 4WD light comes on when starting 2021 RAM 1500

I had my 2021 RAM 1500 into the dealer service center today. When I start my 2021 RAM 1500, the SERV 4WD indicator light comes on, but then goes off. It doesn't come back on again until I start the truck again. The dealer service technician said that is normal operation on startup. Can anyone verify that as a valid statement? They said they did a full diagnostic and no codes showed up in the 4WD system. It seems odd to me that this would be normal as that is the only indicator light that illuminates on startup.

Any response to validate this would be much appreciated! Thank you in advance.

If I’m recalling correctly, my 16 1500’s SERV 4WD light comes on when ever I start it and then will go away within a few seconds. Nothing to worry about.

mine just started that today. So idk about the “normal” opperation thing. Never did it until literally 45 min ago.

Or you just never noticed it till today. I've drove a few 4X4 Rams,and they all seem to turn on the service 4X4 light when you start them.
