Size of drop on ball mount on a 2022 2500 Bighorn with air suspension

Hey just bought a 2022 2500 Bighorn with the air suspension. This truck sits way taller than my old half ton. So any thoughts on how much drop to get in the ball mount? 5”? 6”?

I run a Trimax razor aluminum 8” drop adjustable on a 2017 ram 2500 tradesman. Stock suspension but running on 35” tires. It’s worked well between flat towing my Jeep, uhaul trailers, and smaller. Only 10k rated though.

Depends on your trailer setup and how much you're hauling. Just Get an adjustable mount.

Use a measuring tape and measure the difference. Set the trailer level before measuring
