Just s quick post for anyone thinking about it. I changed my oil few hours ago using pup 0w40 and 16 onces of liqui moly and k&n filter. Engine Is the quietest its ever been. Oil pressure cold was 59 and 48 hot after a 45 mile mixed highway back road drive. I have mds disabled so I can't speak for that but the valve train is dead quiet. Definitely going to be sticking with this combo.

Liqui Moly is powdered moly in suspension, mos2 one moly two sulfur, lubegard biotech is tri nuclear oil soluble moly. Just something to consider, biotech gives you a lower coefficient of friction and no powdered moly that gets all over your engine. But the forum has had great sucess with 0w40 in the 5.7.

I put it in mine back in September and man what a difference! Its quiet as a mouse when at operating temp much quieter valve train when cold with no increase in piston slap which has been present since new.

I use the liquimoly also but I am gonna give the lubeguard a try when my stock of liquimoly is gone. Though I have been happy with the results of the Mos2.

Why wouldn’t it be? The 392 6.4’s are practically the same engines and that’s what the @dedugned them to run on.
