So my truck has been acting a little funny lately and just wondering if anyone can help m narrow down what the problem could be.

Here lately it has been acting up 2 time in particular.

1) when at a stop sign or stop light, and I press the gas lightly to scoot up, it will rev up, move and when I let off the gas, rpms drop to 500 and it sounds like it comes within just a hair of dying, but then it goes back to acting normal...

2) When I am backing into a spot, that requires a lot of wheel turn and accelerating more than the normal coast w/o my foot on the gas, it will act like its gonna die sometimes and come back, and sometimes it just dies. and If I let it sit for a little while it will start back up.

any ideas? fuel injectors? transmission? power steering pump?

The fuel pump is brand new so I would hope it wasnt that

so a vacuum leak would cause both issues or just the first?

I will check for codes today

well guys, vac leak looks to be the culprit. what happened was the vac hose on my k&n cai got twisted somehow, maybe wasnt tightened enough, and the way it twisted kinked the hose, so that was causing the weird symptoms.

Thanks guys!
