New here from Roswell, Georgia. Unfortunately, this past Saturday night/ Sunday morning a neighbor's 50 year old oak tree fell from across the street and hit my 05 Ram 1500 4x4 Thunder Road edition causing severe damage to the hood, right front fender, roof (caved in and smashed the sunroof glass), driver's door, rear glass slider, and the radiator core support.

Is this even repairable or does it sound like a total loss? Insurance adjuster has not come out yet. Dr. Google says the roof can be repaired by a skilled body shop. The hood, fender and rear slider should be relatively easy to replace. Not sure about the core support.

I'd be surprised if it wasn't totalled based on the year (2005) and your description of the damage. Sorry for the loss.

You might be able to buy it back if totalled. However I think you'd end up with a salvage title. I personally wouldn't do that unless it has low mileage and sentimental value to you.

Almost everything is repairable. It's more like is worth repairing.

They would cut the roof off
They would use an After Market Sun Roof, OEM was crap even brand new
everything else is replaceable

Well, if it is the radiator core, they will likely find a good used unit, then paint it

My sister had a tree fall on her Mini Cooper. Fairly new at the time. Insurance said once roof is compromised, they total it. Damage was not that bad.
