Truck: 2011 RAM 1500 4 door 4WD with 5.7 Hemi
My wipers do not work. I think it is the motor. About 2 weeks ago wipers made a bit of a grinding noise when operating - sounded as if sand in the motor. That went away for a week and then a couple days ago wipers did not want to park and operated only intermittently. Now mostly inoperative. Anything other than motor that would resolve?
Closest dealer can't look at vehicle for 20 days. Next closest dealer is a month out. I called NAPA and they say they do not carry a motor for this vehicle. I looked at Auto Zone and could not find one.
I think that the remanufactured Cardone 40-3050 motor will work but am not certain. Can anyone tell me what motor does fit?
Before I can get the plastic cowling off I need to remove wiper arms and those are frozen on. So ordered a wiper arm puller.
