What made you switch? Did you notice any improvement with the Superchips?

Yes there is improvement with Superchips. I ran one on my 07 for a couple years and on my 14 for the last year. Once you run it you will not want to go back to not having a tuner. It's safe to say that statement applies to all tuners.

Superchips only gives you the ability to install the tunes it comes with, which again do provide various noticable improvements. With the Diablo, I can pay to have a tune customized for my trucks mods and needs and will have even more improvement.

Now that I have all my mods on my truck that play a role in tuning, it was just time for me to move to custom tuning. I really have no complaints about the SC, was just time to upgrade!

Thanks @RAYDEL PORTO for the great deal on the Pedal Commander.

Slapped it in this morning and took it for a spin to get some coffee. Set it at the sport+. I did not intend on getting this and it was not on my build thread. Figured I would try it and if I didn't like it then would resell.

All I can say is, WOW....I was genuinely nervous for the first few minutes, got the butterflies in my stomach. This PC will absolutely NOT be coming off my truck!

Say hello to my little friend....

I'm happy with it. Buuuuttt, I could use an upgrade on the sound system, all that extra lighting would be nice, gonna need the switch pod for all those lights, soft tonneau with it's wavy form looks kinda shabby right now, some leather would really tie in the interior, the Jay Greene will finalize my performance and I don't want to look stupid getting stuck somewhere deep and can't get myself out, so gotta have the winch. Did I just recite my entire pending mod list?
...oops :drink_nl:

All jokes aside, probably will get the Jay Greene and chill for a bit. Got the Audi a3 commuter last week and totaled it the next day, which I had a few plans for by the way, lol... Wife convinced me to just drive her Accord to work for the next year so I can continue with my plan to keep the miles of my truck and take time with mods on it when I want to do them, rather than rushing through them on the damn weekend.

Before I get back to the truck, gonna have to do a few things to the Accord since I have to sit in it every day now. New rims/tires, some sound and some tint on the lights to get the blackout complete. If PC is available for the Accord, that's gonna happen. Probably gonna think of a few more things.

Then daughter gets the Accord next year, wife gets a new car and I need a commuter again. Not looking like I am doing much more to my truck anytime soon!

Had an itch today to do a couple quick things that were bugging me. Got rid of the red incandescent bulbs in the footwells and swapped them with red led's, those red coated bulbs really sucked. Got the amber bulbs out of my license plate and swapped with cool white led's. The last of the amber colored lights are now off the exterior of my truck!

*License Plates Lights: Cool White Led Sylvania 194
*Floor Lights: Red Led Sylvania 168R

You've got a little mud there. Might want to wipe that off. :)

Looks like you had fun! (The tow truck drivers, not so much)

$600. Big wrecker was $1k, but gave us a break since he knew the other tow. Guy with the two tow trucks was only going to be $250 for pulling me out, he didn't expect me to pay the $600, but I did and we called it even.

A little late for showing the extremities of a transformation, but got a quite a few things left I plan on goofing around with before I cross the finish line (wherever that is!).

I'd post step by step transformation pics as I went along but lost most all of them. Had to delete to download an app on the spot to show the gamewarden I had a license. That was literally the one time I have ever got checked and the only time I forgot my license. lol..

Got the PC for the Honda already, $215 shipped to my door! Vortex are great. Will hold the weight of that spare you have been wanting on your roof.
