    Earth magnets on oil filter

    I've run a large magnet that partially surrounds the oil filter. Out of curiosity I cut the filter open and indeed I had a layer of fine metallic particles where the magnet sits. I have a 2007 2500 Cummins. Oil change every 5K with dino oil. It only has 125K on it but has hauled a 2200# cabover...

    90 psi is way too much to have to inflate the bags. Depending on air pressure to tow is spooky. Those coils might work well for you.

    it's the new "Reset" where government knows best. I'll never sell my 2007 Cummins. We're looking to replace our 2005 Honda Pilot and I'm going to have to research Honda's involvement in this. That's not mentioning the bs electric parking brakes and the stall/start madness. Pushing that button...

    Seized or rusted spare tire cable or lift mechanism

    After a fairly tough Baja trip my tire was almost dragging on the ground. I bought a replacement winch and use a ratchet strap attached to the frame rails and run across the spare. This is bulletproof and takes the load off the winch.

    I inherited my dad's 2004 5.9L Cummins

    If it's a 49 state HO federal truck you've got a gem. Change all the fluids,check the brakes etc. the TDR forum is great along with Cummins Forum. The TDR has a section entitled what to do with a recently acquired Cummins or something like that. OH get new quality tires.

    Sheered off lugs while driving

    Are the rims stock? The diesel shop I use removes the retainer clips on the lugs when installing aftermarket rims. I've frequently read where this has happened with aftermarket rims.

    OEM or Aftermarket wheel bearings

    There's some articles where guy lube the "sealed" bearings through the ABS port and getting 400K out of them. Personally I got in a group buy for Dynatracs hubs PlusDynatrac had a big rebate for them and their BJ's.
