Leather damage, what can you do?
Yeah, I would have gone right to the dye, but! There is brown stitching in the leather, and it will drive me crazy if I accidentally stain it black. Wonder if there some kind of magical way i could cover it perfectly....maybe masking tape, but i bet it would not stick firmly enought to prevent... -

Just to follow up on this thread, i finally got my hands on the Aerospace protectant. It did not make any difference. Anyone use any products to bring back the color to thier leather? It appears i might have to get creative and Dye it? -

got it to work! using and android phone (one plus 7 pro), just downloaded alphaOBD on app store (newest version) OBD link MX+ (brand new, just came in the mail 2 days ago) 25$ knock off keyfobs on ebay, programmed 2 let it be known for these keyfobs it only works when selecting (program FOBIK...- _TopGear

hello! So i had a similar issue and had to replace my PS rack last summer. i did find a cracked flange on the old power steering rack after replacing. I tried EVERYTHING before it came to that. Remote start not working
...not working again. The new keyfob worked for weeks flawlessly. Then all of a sudden, the truck does not recognize my key again. I took my key apart and fiddled with the battery placment. FWIW i believe now that the prongs that hold the battery in contact with the circuit board were loose. So...- _TopGear

Fixed! So I was sure I was going to have to go to the dealership and get a new programmed fob, but that wasn't the case evidently. I went on ebay and purchased one of these, popped in my circuit board from my old key. And presto. Works like new still after testing it for 2 weeks. I can be in...- _TopGear

Thanks for your help! Im going to check out your reccomendations. I have never left the windows down in rain, but i bet it is something ive used and maybe stained it or the heat from the sun caused some kind of reaction maybe. I will try out the 303 products and check out your Instagram... -

No, for sure dont. I've been applying the chemical guys leather conditioner on it every day after work this week so far, kind of looks better, but it almost looks like it soaks it up? I wonder if something ive used before ate the coating off it, and there is a sealant or something I could apply -

This odd pattern started developing almost out of nowhere last year, leather conditioner does nothing. Ive tried cleaning it with a detergent and water mix, chemical guys interior cleaner, and a couple other brands. When its wet you almost cant tell. But even with chemical guys leather... -

Remote start not working
Mine is starting to have a similar problem, i have to click the buttom a ton of times and finally it works. Whats odd to me is i found that hitting the lock button first increased the odds of it working with 1 or 2 tries. Also have a 2013 Longorn Sent from my GM1917 using Tapatalk- _TopGear
