On the average you should replace that filter every 65,000 to 75000 miles. It keeps the gunk out of your turbo and EGR system. At about 150,000 miles you should get your EGR cleaned. You have a million mile motor if you take care of it. I have almost 600,000 on mine. And I do regular...- Brent 1955

Regen 100% full
They replaced the cat and the big expensive muffler behind it was my problem thanks for all the advice I got on here. In the end everything is back working as it should hopefully for another 600,000 miles- Brent 1955

A diesel is meant to pull or be worked so in turn with a camper under 10,000 lbs. like most trailers are. your fuel mileage will be much better than a gas motor. It depends on several things. Flat or Hilly, if it is windy outside headwind or tailwind, gear ratio in your truck. I hauled campers for a living for 5 years. On the average 9 - 13 mpg. Find your sweet spot while pulling the camper and stay there.- Brent 1955
