20" To 17" Wheels Any Pros?

try golf balls. use them like dynabeads. https://dynabeads.ca/truck/light-truck.html 1000's of interco customers can't be wrong. can alternatively use airsoft pellets, probably a little more than chart states with a kitchen scale. Success varies on Pirate4x4 but i hate vibrations and would...

20" To 17" Wheels Any Pros?

285 70 17 on stock 17 7 inch wide rim. ATkO2 E's 33 ish really close to 275 60 20. please note a 7 inch wide rim will pinch these a bit as its outside their rated range on rim width. and maybe prone to center wear if you put 50 PSI in them I run 36 and the chalk test is great. They will...

Government trying to hunt me down

Gave up reading after page 6, anybody suggest simply pulling the fuse to see how diagnostic it is about disabling the vehicle before more wires get cut?

Goodyear Wrangler SRA tires - can't go offroad at all?

SRA or ST or HP, are not fit for a tire swing. GY Duratracs are great.

    2017 Limited 1500 Rear Coils/Height

all the trucks have a rake to them 2 inches is about right. it is unlikely you have anything that isn't standard unless it is an outdoorsman or rebel and even still, the rears should be the same. dropping an inch with 350 lbs seems about right, if you don't like the ride you can always go...

Wth is this? Block heater on gas motor?

The trick is getting the propane to light in those temperatures. Don't mind the fuel leak. As for a block heater on a gas engine, its a big world. You'd be surprised how much life improves with it when it gets below -20C.

Who is running TufTruck TTC-1223V rear spring (1500)

The 1211's put the ass end up 1/4 - 3/8 " max when new. If i can find my old measurements to compare I bet its at stock height or same as when 1211 installed. They also ride great. I ultimately decided against 1223V as I had stuff constantly in my ram boxes so more weight negates the...

Would you use tow haul mode if pulling a small boat?

With Tow haul on and my boat (17 aluminum side console, 115 hp ~3000lbs total) I will seldom see 8th gear. Look at your trans temps if it ain't hotter than usually and not hunting for gears its really your choice. My engine oil temp running 7th vs 8th is higher but that's not surprising...

    Rebel tows less?

Like mentioned check if the one you looked at comes with 3.21. without going to configuration, if it comes with 3.92 it should be higher than 6400.

    Variable rate coil spring upgrade.

I did 1211. put rear up .25 to 3/8 inch. was firmer, tows a 5400 lbs camper great. I did not go 1223 V as i have ram boxs and carry ****. I did not one lower than stock and having the first easy soft coils negated with the weight i carry in the ram box. you may wish to consider new front...

    bilstein 5100 and towing

for the rear, the shocks will not raise your lift height what so ever. for the front, decide if you are replacing rear springs or airbags and somebody can recommend a setting for level. You can replace the rear shocks and change nothing and it will just dampen a little firmer, no setting...

    Towing after gear swap question

TH minimizes shifting so your torque converter stays locked up in the lower gear and running higher revs. Its a conversation about heat. look at trans temp, if off and just as cool as running in 5th, leave it off.

    Launching / Recovering 18-20' CC w/ 2WD

check out the launch where you would typically go and watch half a dozen retrieve their boats. Aside from a good entertaining hour in most cases it should give you confidence to proceed. We've all been in launches where 4WD was ideal but seldom required. my LSD does come in hand but i'm...
