Does anyone know what the accessory purpose of this area is supposed to be?

ive used a k&N kit for about a couple of months now. i haven't noticed a performance increase or fuel economy. But i do find the noise with WOT very entertaining- Dynigo

2014 fuel sensor
this recently happened to my 2014 sport. the dealer just changes the fuel pump. Mine was covered under extended warranty. You maybe able to save a few bucks if you did it yourself.- Dynigo

frustration with refueling
Yea california does have other equipment on the gas pump nozzles. Its to keep vapors from escaping. I had the same issue on my 14 1500 and my 06 GTO. its a pain but i live in CA nothing really to do. -
Recalls
recently went to the dealer to get a pcv hose that crosses over the engine(K&N requires you to cut it). i explain to the parts guy and he said it was ordered i go in and its a heater hose. i had to go in two more time before i ended up looking for the part number myself and telling them to order it- Dynigo

5 yr 100k warranty a joke ??
my parents had a similar situation with their jeep. they purchased a wrangler when Chysler was offering the lifetime powertrain warranty. The head took a dump when they put bad gas in it. then the dealer said that it needed a special inspection because of the warranty and never had it done...- Dynigo

What DON'T you like about your RAM?
i had extended warranty through carmax. When i initially talked to them on the phone, they said that if it was due to moisture. So from looking around a black headlight assembly is about 650. So i took it to them and they ended up covering the replacement. They did not replace it with a mopar...- Dynigo
