Gotcha, thank you for taking the time. I was torn between the F150 ecoboost and my current Ram. The marketing and torture tests almost got me. I had a hard time saying no to a truck that got 400 HP below 1800 rpm (F150 ecoboost). However, I just wasn't 100%, I trusted my gut and I am glad.

In all fairness I had the F150 xlt which is more in line with the Ram SLT, but I bought the Ram Sport pretty loaded. So, with that said, my Ram is A LOT nicer than the F150 xlt I had. My Ram's interior is much better. I had the 3.5 Ecoboost. Though the Ecoboost is crazy fast, I like the Hemi 5.7 V8 quite a lot better. In my opinion, the Ecoboost is a ticking time bomb. The 2011 F150s were the 1st to get the Ecoboost engines. Now those F150s are getting up there in mileage and there's a lot of chatter out there about timing chains stretching and engines blowning. I traded mine in because I was getting a sciatica pain from the drivers seat for some crazy reason. Trust me when I say I tried everything to correct that. Some other issues I had was a clunky driveshaft, "popping" in the steering and a couple time the engine stumbled on take off (basically shut off for a couple seconds then came back on). I only had 8,000 miles when I traded it in.
