I did a similar swap but went with the v6. I like my Durango, don't like I'm on the second transmission after 8000 miles among other problems with 6 months of ownership.- parttimer

"Optimal" Detailing Recommendations?
If you're doing it yourself get a DA unit, a medium and fine polish and pads, some microfibers and a coating. Opti coat, Cquartz or something similar. -

Leaf Blower Drying - Gas, Corded, or Cordless
Electric is the way to go, gas is noisy and there can be oil or other particulates in the exhaust which can be left behind on the pain. -

Got mine back from service and getting 2 tires on. They told me the auto setting didn't like i had 2 old tires and 2 new tires. I had ripped a sidewall out back in February so I put a pair of tires on to replace the one I tore. So 10k miles later I got my other replacement pair and now have 4...- parttimer

4WD Lock or 4WD Auto?
I went from a 2005 Silverado where my choices were Auto, 4 hi and 4 lo. Man that was soo smooth compated to the "Auto" the RAM has. I tested again last night and got beat to hell in Auto. Driving up a grade it was chugging and chugging then BANG gear change. I drove like this for 20 minutes...- parttimer

I have noticed from day 1 that in auto the tranny feels jerky and I notice a vibration at highway speeds in auto. In 2wd the feeling immediately goes away so I leave it in 2wd unless weather dictates other. I also tested on the freeway in 2wd I watched my fuel economy, then switched to auto...- parttimer
