My english is good enough I think, so language can't be a real issue ;)
I will keep me to that procedure next time. When launching first parking brake and then put it in Park and vica versa when leaving.
You are def right about how deep the trailer should be. We were in to far. The previous...
Ok thanks guys for all the advice!
But could it be an issue if there is a small turn after the ramp? From what I've read it doesn't seem to be a good idea to make a turn in low or lock.
Don't think there is any 4x4 high. You can only choose auto, lock or low for 4WD
This was the slipway where we went to get the boat. Have no idea what the conditions will be where we let it in the water over here. Guess it will depend and be different in any other location. That will be...
Don't we all dream of stuff with no maintenance required ;)
But if its got moving parts, you got to service it. Unless you can sell it before it brakes :)
E-brake was on. Wouldn't risk it to put it just in Park. Don't remember if I put the E-brake on first and than in P or vice versa. But the e-brake was def on.
Ours is in 4WD Auto all the time. No matter if we drive small roads, highway, dry, wet, ... always 4WD auto. Never had an issue.
Only...

When we were loading the boat it was in 'P' with parking brake. When I put it in 'D' I heard some kind of crack. Suppose...
Installed a new set on the rear and the problem is indeed fixed!
There doesn't seem to be any damage to the transfer case because he is doing fine right now.
Learned something new now!
Before the Dodge we had a Volvo XC90, also a 4WD, but changing only one pair wasn't an issue with that car...

Following that logic it would be unsafe to replace an almost worn out flat rear tire with the brand new spare, even for a while.
For the front you can put it in 2wd like we did, but for the rear?
Hi, Today we changes the front tires because it was necessary. The rear ones still have some miles on them.
But as soon as we left the shop there was some kind of shaking noticeable.
First I thought the tires weren't balanced correctly or not tightened properly.
Then I found out that when it is...
