Looks like I'm never buying RAM again...
If I had to I would look for low miles pre covid truck. We all know anything made during covid sucks anyway. Completely agree though getting rid of 8hemi is pure stupidity and for those who say adopt I would say ....um no.- rmill

Check your intake manifold bolts
Wild One--is it crazy to think you shouldn't mill your manifolds if they are slightly warped???? Repaired busted bolts on DS noticed a slight unevenness to manifold but just slapped it back on knowing casket would take care of slight defect and it seems like a perfect match once warmed up as...- rmill

1500 vs 2500 for towing travel trailer (downhill)
Tow 30 ft 6500lb trailer and have never felt like I was being pushed around at anytime. Would invest in some michelin defenders for truck or some other high ply tire though.- rmill

GCWR losing my mind!
Not sure I would trust carmax either. Those are pretty stock weight numbers. Are you positive of trailer weight? Is that with some water? Dry? Supplies? If so you are on outer limits. Most here would say don't do it.- rmill

More than likely you are at a cgvwr at 13500 that's what my 14 is same 3.21. tongue weight and tires will be key if it's doable.- rmill

fwiw, I put amsoil multi vehicle full synthetic ATF and tranny loved it have 15k on it. Your val 75-140 has slip diff lube in it already. used new dorman tranny cover no issues and can just buy the filter for now on. would do plugs and drain and fill coolant a few times also.- rmill

Well you will get lots of advice here. I know some people get freaked out with warranty but depending on your location the sooner you go with 5-30 with Lubeguard (moly) the better off you will be if you are towing frequently.
