Offsets
okay, I am going to tag onto this thread. I am trying to pick some new wheels and tires. currently the truck has 305/55/20 Nitto Terra Grapplers and the best I can tell the wheels are 20X9, -12mm? offset, ~4.5" BS (board and tape measure guesstimation) Truck also has a HBS 2.5" leveling kit... -

My MPG from a recent trip....
I just recently did a trip from Indianapolis to Gatlinburg through the hills and got 16.9 on the dash (16.6 actual) and and 17.5 on the dash (17.7 actual) Gburg to Indpls. I was surprised the dash was close to accurate. I drove 75mph, 95% cruise control. I like to let the PCM do the work.- Robb13425

Mobile 1 Full Synthetic Advanced Formula 15,000 miles?
a single oil analysis will give you limited information. constant oil analysis picks up the changes over time. for best results you should pick an oil and interval and stick to it. IMO, a good synthetic oil in a modern, properly running engine should not have a problem lasting 10K-15K miles...- Robb13425

OEM ram air hood
this is rock solid information...I have to seal the deal, but I think I have the parts manager talked into a $999 price I like the sport hood, it's metal and OEM quality form, fit and finish. I havn't had much luck with composite hoods in the past. everything from being heavy, bad finish... -

Called the dealer today, they told me $2275 for the bare metal hood, PLUS...PLUS $100ea for the inserts!!! Anyone got a part number or direct source for a Dodge sport hood?? I am trying to get a sport hood and paint with a black challenger stripe. I also plan to get the pocket flares and hood... -

TPMS acting weird, after new wheels
Thanks guys putting on a level kit this week and may change the tire size, so I needed to resolve this to get it done at the same time. are all sensors created equal? I mean dealer, ebay, discount tire...all have the same form, fit and function, auto calibrate, etc.? -

well rather than making a new thread, I am going to piggyback this one. My TPMS issue.... bought 2009 ram 1500 with dealer installed aftermarket wheels, TPMS worked fine for 3 years, traded 09 for 2012 ram 1500 and swapped the wheels over. they reset the TPMS and all was well for a few... -

removing bed rail covers
that's good to know. are they hard to remove? do the clips or attach points on the covers break when removing? I'm thinking I'd like to take them off and add some automotive 3M tape...they seem to flemzy on the edges. now on to reseach more fun things like level kit, tires, k&n, exhaust..... -
