The “other” forum has a much more active “prices paid” thread on 5th gens. Having said that, I think it all comes down to the manufacturer incentives that are available at any given moment.
Hmm.... I walked away from a deal - $33,500 for a ~$47k ‘19 Big Horn w/HEMI eTorque. In the end wasn’t convinced about eTorque and the truck had the front bench (want the console). Search continues...
For what it's worth.... '18 Laramies w/ Hemi go for ~$32K at Manheim (I don't have access, but my friend is a GM at Nissan store and I MIGHT have him get me one for his cost). These are 1 year old trucks with ~$15K miles. The trucks you're looking at are basically 3 years old and sold for...

Both seem moderately equipped. I would definitely try to work the price down quite a bit.

All depends where you are and what targeted incentives you qualify for, but I got 6% below MSRP + incentives (roughly $13,500 off ~$48k MSRP - that was around Thanksgiving, when incentives were little better).
Good question. My friend has a ‘16 CrewMax with TRD package. It’s a very nice truck, but there are couple things that bug me. The interior, while nicely laid out, is a sea of hard plastic. My 12 year old Limited feels much more upscale. Another thing is the MPG - I know - it’s a truck, if I...
It’s definitely not a screaming deal. 40k is relatively high for 2017. The air suspension delete is actually a huge bonus - I won’t even consider air suspension. Too many problems with them in cold weather. Still on the fence about ramboxes. Cool idea, but I currently have a cap on my truck...
The best I’ve seen reported on custom orders is 9% below pseudo invoice + incentives. It’s easier to negotiate a deal on the in stock inventory, especially if the truck has been sitting on the lot for a while. I’m seeing some pretty aggressive pricing on trucks with build date in March and...
Not yet. I’m probably going to hold off for couple weeks - heading to Punta Cana with family first week of January.
In the meantime, I sent a request for a quote to a local dealer that does special order at 6% below invoice + incentives.
MSRP as built hair under $52k (Laramie with V6...
Thay actually have couple '17 Laramies with V6 that I test drove as well. While no match to Hemi, they are no slouches by any means. They Pentastars are definitely quicker than the 4.7 iForce in my old Tundra. The lack of CarPlay in '17 kind of sucks - partially why I'm considering holding...
Haven’t decided yet. Not sure about the open diff, since I’m in Chicagoland. My Tundra is RWD, and I haven’t gotten stuck, yet.
I’ll probably wait till after new year and see if I can maybe get a better deal through Manheim.
You just shake your head when you see something like this....
The way I look at it - this is a "$59K" truck that sold for somewhere in the high $40K range ($10K discount). Being 2 years old with 3 years of "standard" mileage (let's call it 2.5 year old), I"m looking at roughly $15K...
