I have a Y-Pipe going into the 3" exhaust tube to a Magnaflow 18" SI/DO going back with no resonators and 5" tips.
Sounds very good at WOT, but nice, deep, and mellow under normal driving. I have had this setup for 6 years now.
2014 just rolled 187K.
Only major issue was Cylinder 1 had a cracked valve spring. It happened right after an accident, however they could not determine if the accident caused it or not. I was rear-ended.
Beside that though, flawless so far.
My 2014 just rolled 182K. This happened to me a couple of times over the life of the truck. Recently, it would not come on at all.
I had heard about smacking the back of the steering wheel on that side where the switch is. So I slapped the back of the wheel, and it comes on again now! LOL...
I have a similar setup but that bracket was only about $35. No longer for sale though from what I have seen.
Also purchese the pods for about $20 per pair.
The light output is very good though.
Magnaflow Y-Pipe into an 18" Magnaflow, outbound 2.5" pipes (removed resonators) ending in 5" tips.
Love the sound when I get on it. At idle, nice amd mellow, but deep.
That cutoff looks good. I have the factory projectors, and the cutoff is not near as sharp. HIDs for the win! You will like them if you get them. Make sure you get CANBUS ballasts when you get the HID kit.
Easiest thing to do is to pull one plug, and get the part number from it. Then you can order the same ones. If the set is around $70, those are NOT the iridium ones.
If FM doesn't help you out, I would sand it real good and spray paint it to help with the rust. That seems to be low quality stainless however. Hopefully, you will get an answer from FM.
Full synthetic with filter change every 10K. I have over 140K miles on my 2014 so far. Still running strong! I did the same thing on my 2010 with no issues.
