Hemi 6.4, gasoline. 87 or 89.
Doesn’t anyone read the manual anymore? As the others have stated, 87 ok 89 recommended. I have run both in the 2013 5.7 1500 I had and now the 2017 6.4 in my power wagon. 37's and 3.21. Here I go again...
You better change your gearing. I had a 13 with 3.21 and the 8 speed, all stock. I cannot imagine putting 37s on it that way. If you tow with it, you’ll even have more issues. Heck, if I decide to put 37s on my power wagon with 4.10s; I’d probably have to re-gear too. Sent from my iPhone... -

Fuel Mileage Chip

The 2013 5.7 I had got excellent mileage on the highway, 17-19, if the wind wasn’t blowing (rare). 12 - 13 in town. Towing 9-10. I had the 8 speed. All stock. With 3.21 gearing. What are you getting? bed cover recommendation

Is it normal that after a new set of Lifters is installed the Heni 5.7 keeps smoking?
Keep an eye on it. If that’s from the repair work you should be good after a week of driving when it’s burned off. If it’s staying wet then I’d take it back. Something isn’t sealed right. Frusteration with truck being in the shop
I have a 17 with almost 21k miles. I definitely don’t have this issue (knock on wood). I’m having a hard time believing you’ve had 1-2 bad transmissions. They need to figure out what’s making them go Bad. This is definitely an awesome truck. It sounds like you just got a bad Apple.- turnerje
