Running board swap

So I just swapped my running boards out. Super easy to do, took me less than an hour by my self. What I need help with is how to I convince my wife that these are not new and are the running boards I had all along!

That might be tuff since you went from black to chrome. lol.

If she is like my girl, anything vehicle related is of no interest and will go unnoticed until it is pointed out to her.

I actually doubt she will notice... but my 6 year old DEF will and will dine me out in a second...lol

3 weeks ago I had the front windows of my quad cab tinted to match the rears. I told no one (neither of my kids nor my wife). Even left the "do not open the windows" stickers on the door panels.

A week later I told my kids about it....they had been in the truck at least 4 times and still hadnt noticed.

A week after that I told my wife. Who had been in the truck about 6 times and still hadnt noticed.

Chrome, black, it dont matter....they just dont care enough to notice.

Now, if you got her a salmon colored dress instead of coral....well, there would be hell to pay.
