Im trying to decide between Yokohama Geolandar a/t and general grabber atx. There is about a $300 price difference. Truck has stock tires on it so also trying to decide if 275/65r20 or 285/60r20 is better with a 2.5in levelda1485c0b49e5dad562076be1a789d02.jpgd2ec0ffb76be0f704a6c623221f7d4f4.jpgf68b676ae31ed2c25e85b26285a953e3.jpg

I do not recommend the Yoko’s. They rode terrible on my Ram I had previously and I couldn’t wait to be rid of them. They bounced around all over the place and never seemed to keep balance.

I can tell you size wise, the 275/65R20 is a great size. It's got more height (not a lot) than stock but the same section width. Typically an AT tire is going to have a wider tread block than the factory goodforayears.

You have to watch the tire ratings, a lot of these large tires are LT or Load Range E (Easiest thing to look at the Max PSI of 80).
They're just over-kill on a half ton and they can really hamper the ride quality / MPG (they are almost always literally 8-10# heavier PER TIRE).

My '16 work truck has 285/65R20s all stock and they are stuffy under it. While you could fit em, man, I wish it had a bit smaller and certainly a lighter tire. I'm really underwhelmed with how the '16 does compared to my EcoBoost, especially when towing my camper. I can't help but think a tall heavy tire has a lot to do with that.

If you won't be offroading the truck but need AT traction, the General APT's will be a better choice.

I had a friend buy Yoko' a few months ago and I just got these American owned/American built Mastercraft Coursers AT2 about the same time. Stock size/no lift.

We're going to compare them over time.
