Unfortunately in this day and age it what tires you can find in stock. We have been selling a good amount of the rugged treks and the feedback has been all good. Mostly because we know how to actually balance truck wheels and most of our customers it’s the first experience talking to someone who actually cares. It is looking like this is the tire I will be going with. My truck is not my daily driver, but is still 75-80% on road and some "off-road" around the farm during deer and turkey season... I want an aggressive looking tire, but see no real need for mud tires, although I did consider mud tires due to the fact that I do not drive my truck all of the time.I know nothing about the Rugged Trek. I own 295/60 20 Cooper STT Pros that I normally run during Winter months and 295/60 20 Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLTs that I run the rest of the year. I lot depends on how you intend to use the tires. I don't do routine off-roading, my only true need for aggressive tires may only occur a few times a year at most when visiting friends in the boondocks or navigating through a foot of snow. During Summer I pull a bassboat and a camper (not at the same time). I can say that I've been happier with both of these sets of Coopers, than any truck tire I've owned. I believe the AT3 is the quietest All Terrain LT tire I've ever owned. Made in America, I don't believe you can go wrong with a set of Coopers.
How are they on wet dirt roads, "light" mud (such as what you would encounter around a farm)?FWIW I've been very happy with copper tires.
I’ve been happy with my Cooper AT3 4S and sounds like they could handle your needs. Hopefully our definition of light mud is the same. Also check out falken wildpeak AT3. . They get good reviews on this forum .How are they on wet dirt roads, "light" mud (such as what you would encounter around a farm)?
