There wasn't much GM or Ford in either car, lol. That's like saying your Pro Mod car is a GM or Ford, when about all thats either Ford or GM was the decal and name on the hand built and massaged body panels, lol. The J2000 was sort of credited with the downfall of the late 70's and 80's Pro Street movement,as nobody could really match it.I'm a no thanks to phords and gm's.
Back in the days when enough beer made you 10ft tall and bulletproofSweet ride...
I had a Pontiac 6000LE in baby blue back in the day... we called it the GOOLEEE...
What a machine it was... rear shock were so gone that I'd get in it and the a..z-_-z would bounce & sway all over the place....
Used to launch it over the tracks all over Port Hope... dang near went right out of control and into the farmers field of corn...lol The good ole days of being invincible!
Yep, "stock car" racing is gone. I wish it was more like the old days when you knew it was a Charger etc. There was no doubt this was a Dodge! Some people still think that the NasCar vehicles are Ford, Chevy, & Toyota
They want Dodge back too
When only the body panels resemble certain brands, that does not mean that anything else is made by Ford, Chevy, Toyota or Dodge
