    CV shafts

    Ended up separating the upper ball joint and tie rod end and was able to gain access to the 3 bolts that hold the hub in. After that there was no need to mess with the CV axle anymore. =)

    Thanks for the info. It is frustrating, but now it makes sense. I will work on it later tonight if I have time and see if some extra force will convince that sucker to pop out.
