5.7 E torque towing capacity 12,750 when properly equipped*; what does that mean?
What do you plan on towing? Sorry if somebody already brought this up but usually payload is a bigger issue way before towing capacity. I almost bought a 1500 with plenty of towing capacity for my 6000 lb trailer but it turned out that the tongue weight and all the options on the truck...- Dave-B

Find a local, trustworthy, independent mechanic. They are worth their weight in gold and typically have more experience that any of the mechanics at the dealership. Unhappy with 1500 towing. Need Help
Hey Hank, Sorry you are not satisfied with how your 1500 tows. I ordered a 1500 Limited last summer only to discover the 3.21 was not optimal for towing so I cancelled that order and ordered a 1500 Limited with 3.92 axle ratio. RamBox worth getting?
I was in the same boat. I just ordered mine with ramboxes last week. I went back and forth and read all these reviews and it looks like if it's something that interests you you should probably get in but if you want to maximize your standard bed capacity then maybe pass on them. What did they tell you the delivery time was going to be? I ordered one last week and they said 4 to 6 months. Hopefully, they are under promising so they can over deliver (i.e.; deliver early rather than deliver late)- Dave-B
