I average 8.5 - 10.5 mpg with this setup and towing my camper I range from 6.5 - 8.5 mph around Colorado with 35” Duratracs.
Completely empty with my factory bed though I would averages 15.5-17.5.
They are great trucks as a whole but they are hit or miss. Some guys get a good truck with bad parts and some guys get a bad truck with good parts.
I work in the forestry industry so my truck sees off-road, trails and abuse on a daily basis with a sliptank/toolbox in the bed as well as other...
The ranch hand has holes in it for the sensors and factory fog lights already which is nice. I’ll post back with any issues though once it arrives and install begins.
I have a 2020 and so far the driveshaft smashes easy, body panels, rocker panels and headlights and taillights also don’t fair well against trees and rocks. Otherwise you’ll be good.
How do those tires do in the snow compared to Duratracs? Nice truck! I just missed you, I’ve been working in Breck until last week and I’ve been trying to get my wheeling fix in after work up there! So many fun trails in the area.
I have a brand new CJC Skid/inter cooler guard I will sell you. I bought it for my girlfriends 17 2500 and it didn’t fit and I can’t put it on my truck because I’d tear it off too fast. Make me a reasonable offer!
I bought the powder coated boards, the powder coating has held up better than the factory paint and I have been very hard on them.
For the price difference between bed lining and powder coating, I just couldn’t justify it. You’d be cheaper to just buy the powder boards and bring them to line-X...
Yep! If you can find a dealer that is genuine and cares, you might try to get your truck in there.
My truck started doing it at around 10,000 miles it’s around 30k now.
I called the dealer the first time it happened because I was so frustrated and the service manager was eager to get my truck...
Yes, I have a 2020 wagon and it happens to me. I crawled under the truck and fiddled with the little vent valve that’s just past the fuel filler on the vent line and it started taking fuel again. It seems like the vent sticks when it gets caked with mud, ice or any sort of dust.
Understood, I’m sorry.
You might try running 35 PSI in the rear and 40 in the front. It makes a world of difference. Hope you get the problem solved, I had a mega cab that did the same thing and understand the frustration.
Since Denver’s average speed limit is 55-65, maybe try slowing down to the speed limit rather than 10-20 over and see what happens. Sounds like user error as there are several of us from the Denver/foothills area who have never had any issues.
Start with 35 in the rear and 40 in the front so you can comfortably drive on main roads if you don’t have on board air. Work down from there and get a feel for the pressures/ride quality if you do have onboard air or some sort of source.
I run forest roads every day in Colorado for work and I...
