    I love my 2500. Tote around 24’ flatbed and load it to the nuts. As long as I am not over my tire weight rating I don’t worry about it. Tows like a champ. Heaviest load so far was 11,000lbs of heat treating pads I took out to El Paso. Grossed out at 24,500. Pulled like a champ. Air bags help a lot.

    Cheapest fuel I have seen or heard about was in San Antoni and a Houston. Corpus and West Texas is the highest. Some stations still at 3.99 to 4.29. Buddy of mine that does heavy haul seen it for $3.07 at the QT in NW San Antonio right off the loop.

    Get you (2) horse mats from TSC. I’ve had a few for years and put in several trucks. Matt’s are only 6’ so you’ll need 2. Easy to cut with a razor knife. They’re about a half inch thick and heavy. Also the Bed Rug is a pretty good deal too. Had one in my wife’s 1500. .02

    Check your fuel filters and your boost. Plugged filter(s) and or boost loss will cut Your power down considerably. Also the air filter.
