I can't believe you got that many miles out of the SRAs. I have 33K on mine and they're almost completely done. 90% highway driving on them, I think goodyear is going to be hearing from me.
We had one wicked snow storm this winter and I'm always responsible for driving everyone to work when...
Took mine in for 30k mile service. oil change, tire rotation too. They're also fixing a couple of recalls and screwing back in some trim that's popped off in the interior as a result of my black lab going everywhere with me in the truck lol
I haven't switched my CB over to my Ram yet from my last car...its been three years so clearly i've been slacking. If I do install it I think I would put it under the radio screen where that pull out drawer is. That way it would basically be just like another part of the center console and radio...
I'm glad this thread was started...these are the two tires I keep going back and forth with too. I still have the POS stock goodyears on my truck. 33k miles and they're dead. I've been looking at the duratracs and KO2s, and also have been thinking about the goodyear wranglers with kevlar.
I'm...
I just found this thread while doing some digging on tires. I'm about to buy a new set to replace my POS stock Goodyears that have 30,000 miles on them.
I was pretty much set on the Nitto Terra Grappler G2's as well, but not so much after reading this post. Now you guys have me looking at the...
Yea it's still gonna be a few more months before I get mine. I just want to have the new set in time for the worst months of winter.
Any idea about the Goodyear Wrangler silent armor tires? I just noticed they have amazing reviews.
Sounds about right to me. I'll check out those Toyo's too.
And yeah, agreed about these Goodyears. I expected better from them. My stock tires are a constant source of embarassment, I just haven't had the money to get them replaced lol.
Question for you guys. My stock Goodyear tires are coming up on 35k miles and look like trash. Come November/December I'm going to replace them because I want to time it so that I have my new tires for the worst of the snow that we get here.
I'm 99% settled on the Nitto Trail Grapplers because...
I would say it's probably about the same either way...in my opinion it would come down to your personal preference on whether or not you want the amenities of the newer truck. I love my 2013.
Missed this when you first posted it because I've been MIA for a while from the forum. Awesome looking truck, once I get the money together I'd love to run tires and wheels with the same look as yours. Very nice
So glad the forum is doing so well! I'm not on as often as I used to be but I'm still glad to be a supporting member and help keep the forum as awesome as it is! Definitely makes having a Ram even more enjoyable knowing you have a community of people to talk about it with….god knows my fiancé...
If you browse through the forum you'll get a ton of good info. I personally have the 18" magnaflow. Would highly recommend it. I started with the Vararam and now have the Mopar after-market CAI. I would highly reccomend both. However, the Mopar CAI is nowhere near cheap. I'd recommend Vararam if...
So glad someone started a thread on this. My 2013 5.7L does the whining/chirping noise without fail everytime I start it from a cold start. If it's below about 25 degrees Fahrenheit for the whole night, the thing screams when I start it in the morning.
I always assumed it wasn't an issue, just...
I have a 2013, no Nav system on mine, but my gauge cluster and uConnect screen both just dim based on my headlights being on or off. Nothing automatic about mine.
Interesting. I just read an article online the other day that newer model vehicles only should idle for about 30 seconds-1 minute before being lightly driven to warm the engine up. Not sure how much I believe that though, and what year they consider a "newer vehicle". I still let mine idle for...
I change mine around every 5-6,000 miles. I'm pretty sure I've discovered that the percentage shown by the computer in the truck is purely based on mileage driven since the last oil change and that it doesn't actually measure the oil or the need for an oil change. I could be wrong but that's...
Did some digging and found out I did actually post pics of it a while back, I guess I forgot lol. Here ya go! I absolutely love it. Like I said...highly recommended and definitely worth the money.
