There really isn't a need for more responses. I did research for 2 years before making my decision on the Currie joints for my Jeep. We did 4k miles in 10 days and 7 state's. We also spent a lot of time offroad on trails. No issues.
Thats my opinion any way. My jeep weighed around 6k lbs...
IMO
If you will continue to use your truck off-road, save your money and invest in an off-road bumper. You will save money in the long run

I have built a few bumpers for jeeps. I like to use 3/16" for the bumper. I use 1/4" for the winch mounting surface. Then I use 1" steel d-ring mounts. On the d-ring mounts, I cut the steel bumper and insert the mount through the plate and weld both sides.
