Replaced the water pump and radiator, installed a new 190* thermostat instead of the 203 that was stock. Put truck on ramps to help burp any air out of the system. Truck finally got to operating temp with no more bubbles coming out. Put radiator cap back on and let it run a little longer, then...
So a few weeks ago the truck started making a noise on the left front. It's not a clunking sound, doesn't change with speed or turning. It doesn't just make it on bumps..fairly consistently between 5-10 seconds. It sounds like if you hit the brake dust shield..kinda tinny sounding..like a thin...
I'm still running the original pump, and it's probably close to 10 years old with 110k miles. Is it easier to pull the bed bolts/etc. and slide the bed back to get access or just drop the tank? It looks like there's access to it if the bed was just slid back. I want to replace it before it craps...
Has anyone installed a LED light bar in the factory bumper where the tow hooks or center fill panel fit? The red area highlighted? I searched and didn't come up with anything.

What does the general public say? Personally I think the Mcgaughys spindles are the ideal way to go, but cost 4x as much, or more. I think 2" would suit me fine on the front, probably going with dropped leafs in the rear..3 or 3.5".
