    I did my boxes a little over a month ago and there is no smell left. I couldn't smell any residue after a week.

    Bilstein Strut Washer Stack up

    The washer goes in between the shock and the upper spring seat. I had the creak until I moved it.

    I had the 3.0 so it's world's better. Plus I grounded the brake cable to the unit so the kids are entertained on road trips.

    I only did two layers before running out of time. It was good enough to pull them out though. Ill finish glassing them tomorrow. As for my head unit it is amazing. I couldnt find a better one for the money. It sounds good and has a ton of features. You will enjoy it if that is the route you take.

    I have a kenwood ddx372 for the head unit, back up camera, jbl 608 components up front ran by an old eclipse ea2000 and knu konceptz wiring to finish It off.

    Bilstein users do me a favor please...

    I had a rattle in mine and it was because I put the washer on top under the lock nut instead of between the top and shock rod if that makes sense.

    Tow Package but no receiver?

    Mine came with the tow package but there was no receiver on it. I didn't notice until I got home. Dealer tried to charge me 300 to put it on so I got one off of ebay for 80 and put it on myself.

    Bilsteins at 2.1 or 2.8?

    I have mine set at 2.1. With airlift bags I tow my 4500# camper level. I am glad I went with 2.1 instead of 2.8.

    I have a kenwood ddx372 and added a backup camera as well. Love my setup. Most guys on here either go with a fox box or make their own for subs.

    I've got a set of smittybilt flares. I love them. They were easy to install they are very lightly textured and fit great. We're over 100 dollars cheaper than the dishwashers too.

    Settling of Bilsteins after install

    I set mine at 2.1 because I frequently tow a boat or camper. I put bags in the back so now it tows level with my 4500# camper. About an inch of rake which is perfect for me when unloaded.

    Jl is good stuff but really expensive for the performance. Ryan is definitely giving good advice if you are looking to save some money though. Sundown is top notch stuff. Either way you go you will be happy so it all comes down to what you want to fork out.

    Ill be running jbl608c's. They are amazing components for less than 100.
