Last couple times I've drove mine after about 5-8 minutes it sputters/dies but then starts back up. Today it did it and gas gauge went from half tank to 1/8 tank when it did it and after checking mileage 1/8 tank seemed right. I'm thinking fuel pump is about to go out. Yall agree or?
Haven't posted on here in awhile but still have mine. He doesn't get used that much now but did treat him to new shoes this Christmas, a new set of 315/70/17 MT AT3's. Hopefully I can get to getting a paint job one day but he's still running strong at 250k miles
Haven't been on here in awhile but still have my 99. Did a tuneup on her over the weekend and went and got my inspection this morning. 243k miles and still running great
Method & Raceline are a couple brands off the top of my head that make some pretty beadlocks.
There are lots of others try searching ebay/google/4wheel parts places for beadlocks
Why didn't you go with the DOR trackbar conversion if you don't mind me asking? I thought it was considered the best? I was going to go with them when my current wears out so if the BD is better I'll def change plans.
Definitely don't go back to the metal heat shields, if anything you can always go this style-

is the one for ours it's what I use. Don't think you'll be able to fit switches in it as the opening is pretty small.
The older Superchips 3715 or 3815 will do it and can usually be found under $150-200, I had found one for $75 off ebay and sold it for $100 when I got a SCT
