    Ride feels like crap

Thanks for the input guys. I guess i never noticed the ride because i was always focused the sloppy steering, part of me thinks the slop in the track bar might have been masking some of the bumps. If yall say that the ride is normaly like that, ill take your word. Ill be upgrading the shocks in...

    Ride feels like crap

So I recently put a 2.5in leveling kit on. I got the truck an alignment and the shop told me my track bar had some play. I was planning on getting the adjustable upgrade soon but not immediately. On my way back from the alignment shop I experenced my first "Death wobble" incident, after I...

    Steering column query

That is what moves the gear indicator on your dash. The adjustment knob is so you can adjust it if the indicator is not aligning right. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk

    Touch-Up Plastidip?

Just respraying works fine. However, if you are one of those people that wants it PERFECT, get some protective gloves and a small cup of paint thinner. Dip your finger into the thinner and slowly massage the edges of the chip until you cannot feel the edge anymore, re-wetting your finger as...

    "Driver Squib Circuit Short"

i have my doubts that it is the clockspring. I replaced it this time last year and my horn and cruise control still work. However ill still check the wires for continuity.

    "Driver Squib Circuit Short"

So my airbag light has been on for a while and it has never thrown a code my OBDII scanner could read. I borrowed a Dealer level scanner from my old man's buddy. It came up with "Driver Squib Circuit Short" I'm at a loss.....WTF is a Squib. The Great Omnipotent Interwebs have been unable...

    Airbag light on. No Codes

It was intermittent for about a week, but now its on all the time. I think I can rule out the Clockspring because the cruise comes on and horn works. I've jiggled the wires under the steering column with no result. Any thoughts on what to try next? I really have no idea what I'm doing when...

    Heat problem

Then check to make sure you are getting current to the plug. If you are then Congrats you have a bad motor. If there is no current at the plug, check it at the resistor block and control knob.

    Heat problem

if its not blowing at all then the first step is to check the fuses. If they are good then it could be either the resistor block or the motor. if the middle two fan settings don't work, but full blast does, then it is most likely the resistor block. best way to test the motor is to pull it...

    Question about rear window?

Its harder than you think. I have a solid rear window and wanted to go to a sliding. So I've done my research. The rear window is nearly impossible to remove at home. Its set in with a rigid foam/ epoxy stuff. your best bet is to get it professionally done. and it will be cheaper in the long run...

Harland Sharp RR. Are they really necessary?

So I'm looking to improve the performance of my truck but I'm not trying to build and tune the shit out of it, so I'm having trouble justifying spending $400 dollars on rolling rockers to myself. Isn't there a Stamped steel alternative 1.7 rocker for our trucks.

    Remote Start/ Key-less entry

I agree. I'm only looking for remote start and unlock/lock. Yet most of the packages I come across have the panic button and trunk pop(super useful....). I don't want any of that BS.

    Remote Start/ Key-less entry

So ive been shopping around for a good combo remote start/entry system. It is a mixed bag as far as compatibility and quality. So I was wondering if anyone here has installed an aftermarket system and what their thoughts are as far as reliable brands, features, etc. any and all opinions are...
